How do you bill for your services?

Fees for our tax preparation services are billed and payable upon commencement of our services. The bill is based upon the complexity of the return and the time required completing our work. We feel strongly that we provide superior service at a competitive price.

What hours are you available?

We are available from 9AM EST until 6PM, Monday thru Friday and we are available on weekends and evenings during tax season by appointment only.

What role do you play if the IRS audits me?

If you get a “Notice” or the IRS audits your return, we will represent you at the audit. Your presence is not necessary. All fees for the services will be made clear prior to us rendering any service.

How much and what kind of preparation do I have to do prior to having VB&T prepare my return?

We prefer that your materials be organized and you can explain the thought process used in arranging the data, but we have taken materials in almost every imaginable form. We will offer recommendations for future record keeping. The simplest way is the best way.

Are you available for consultation or other financial advisory services during the entire year?

We are always available to you as we are a full service CPA firm. Whatever situation you encounter, we can assist. Please call us. Don’t hesitate as there is no charge for the phone call. We are constantly building and maintaining a long term relationship with our clients. VB&T wants you to feel that we are one of your trusted advisors. We do not sell any product; we provide a service that is very beneficial to our clients and is totally unbiased and in you best interest.
